First, you're going to want to have a few things on hand to create your arrangement. Here's what I used:
- a fabric basket with hook from Target Dollar Spot (still available in stores)
- Old Target Dollar Spot mini boxwood wreath
- Old Target Dollar Spot boxwood pick
- White tulips from my boutique (2 bundles)
- Sprig of Lambs ear
Hang up your basket on a hook anywhere in your home--anywhere you can hang it will work. Get creative! This can go absolutely any where in your home. This little fabric hanger was $3 and I just picked it up from the dollar spot. Since it's so affordable it was a no brainer--I knew it was going to hang right here.
For my arrangement, I wanted it to slouch a little bit so you'll see that I pulled gently on the bottom here so that they flowers would be cradled inside.
I put the mini wreath inside since it was the perfect shape and size. You won't see this part when it's finished but it will give the hanging basket a shape. It also acts like a flower frog in a way holding the flowers together. We will be putting all the picks inside of the circle.
I put my boxwood in on the bottom so that goes in first. This is just a pick and you can sub out any of your favorite greenery picks. Once it was inside, I faced it out across the bottom.
The two bundles of tulips when in next on top of the box wood pick and through the center of the mini wreath. After they were inside, I arranged and fluffed them as needed.
The last thing to go in was the lambs ear sprig. I snipped off a piece from my pick that I had. This little bit will rest on top of the tulips and it changes up the texture and color from the box wood. It's just a simple way to add variety.
That's it! Take a step back and fix anything that needs arranging, fluffing, or adjusting.
This is what it looks like from the side. It's really a sweet 3D arrangement that adds texture to your wall and could be changed for each season.
Finally this is the whole wall it's on with the surrounding decor. It fits in great and is my favorite place right now. Super easy, super simple and can be changed so many different ways. I came up with this idea after I saw my hooks needed something extra.
I hope you tag me when you try this out in your home so that I can see!
